The area within 100 meters of a protected monument is classified as a Prohibited Area where new construction is banned. The area extending up to 200 meters beyond the prohibited area (100m to 300m) is the Regulated Area, requiring NMA clearance for building activities.

NMA NOC National Monuments Authority से प्राप्त की जाने वाली एक आवश्यक Permission है। Centrally Protected Monuments के आसपास के Regulated Areas में किसी भी Construction, Repair या Renovation Work के लिए यह NOC Required होती है।
